yaesu ft-991 transceiver

yaesu ft-991 transceiver.
bought this from someone who had failed to do the Mars Mod. Attempted repairs with a new ctrl unt board, PCB was installed but it gets caught up on the Yaesu logo on boot up.  Was told it needs a firmware update but I'm not great with computers so it is for sale for parts or repairs. Radio spent most of its life unused in a SHTF pelican padded travel case modified for seldom field-day use. Will come with the destroyed board and random accessories. I put it together, only half way, to test what it did, once I couldn't get it passed the boot screen, I threw everything back into the box and will come as is. With a little knowledge and some elbow grease, this rig can be saved from the parts bin. There is no returns on this radio as I've been very honest that it is in non working condition. Would rate the case 7.5 out of 10, and the screen 9.0 out of 10. Internals 10/10. Considering you can't find ft991 parts right now and used parts cost alot, this is a deal.
