7-Color Channel Display : The SR-497HPC features a 7-Color channel display. This is a quite unique feature in SR-497HPC. Now you can set your frequency display in 7 different colors of your own choice. This feature enhanced the design and beauty of 10 meter radio.
Brilliant 7-Color LED Backlit Face Plate : Now you can choose from 7 different colors from just pushing a button manually or you can let the CPU controller scan from all of the colors automatically. The Stryker high-class face plate design provides an operator with back lighted controls, this makes an adjustment even in the darkest conditions quite easily. Despite the fact, the design is highly durable and the lights can also be dimmed using the dimmer/color button which is on the front panel of the radio.
High Power : The SR-497HPC uses six IRF-520 MOSFET transistor, which delivers the user 80 + watts PEP. Everyone wants more power on the radio to talk, you also might want high talking power. Or if you want someone to listen to you, and your radio’s power is not supporting. The SR-497HPC easily generates 80+watts PEP in which you can do serious long talks easily.
Multiple Step Dimmer : The Stryker dimmer allows you to fine tune how bright you want the backlighting and channel display. The SR-497HPC brings the amazing dimmer circuit. Just press and hold the “color” button in until the radio dims to the desired level. You are no longer have the limits of high, medium or low. You can now lower the lights of your own choice by our dimmer function. For the certain lights, if your eyes are more sensitive in the dark, then this function is specially designed for you.
Heavy Duty AM Regulator : Stryker has improved and upgraded the AM Regulator for increased reliability and better performance.Digital Echo with/ Dual Front Mounted Controls : This provides an operator a vast range of effects and control, than a typical factory or aftermarket echo boards. Two Different Roger Beeps : Two different roger beeps can be selected in the SR-497HPC. These beeps can be controlled by just one switch – located on the front panel. This feature cannot be found in any other radio. First and foremost, roger beeps can be turned off when it’s not needed.
Variable Talk Back Control : The wicked talkback squeal/screech is almost removed with our SR-497HPC self-sufficient talk back circuitry. You can adjust the volume to the ideal level as operating conditions require. Now you do not have to turn down your microphone due to squeal and noise, which is the result of poor design. We the best talkback control system with no squeal, also whenever you want to talk-back you have to press a button and talk. There is no distortion and noise with this feature included.
Up-Armored Receiver : Stryker's special and unique receiver shield is capable of working under even the worst scenarios and weathers. Receiver filtering is also tighter than most other radios on the market. This means adjacent channel rejection is enhanced. There is a full manufacturers warranty included with every radio we sell. Manufacturers of 10 meter radios do not allow returns for any reason and therefore 10 Meter radios are NOT acceptable for return and carry a factory warranty only. Connex ,General President, Galaxy, Ranger and Stryker radios cannot be returned to us.   Warranty for 10 meter radios are handled directly (information can be found in factory user manual) by the respective manufacturer.
