  • Condition: The unit powers on and has good RX on VHF, it's min RX on UHF -110dBm. Low TX output on both bands(around -30dBm) and is off by around frequency 4kHz on both bands. The issue seems to be with the VFO on the radio.

    Description

    For sale here is an Icom IC-2410H 2m/440cm mobile that is not working with in OEM specs. This unit came to us for repair and was determined to be Not cost effective to repair.
    The issue with this radio is a TX VFO that is off frequency by 4kHz, Our tech was not able to determine what the cause of the VFO issue was. There also seems to be an issue with the PA module on this radio, but it was not clear if the low TX power was a bad PA module or related to the VFO issue.
    Below is a list of all the issue we found with this radio:
    Low TX on VHF and UHF.(Out put measured as -30dBm)
    Off frequency(TX only) on VHF and UHF.(off by 4kHz)
    Bad RX sensitivity on UHF. (min RX at 440MHz is -110dBm)
    All other functions on the radio do work.
    Because of all the issues with this radio we are selling it AS-IS. There are no returns on this item.
