    Description

    Antique Sailors Rigging or Rope Knife. Probably 18th century.
    Entirely hand forged by a very skilled blacksmith. , right down to the detailed rat tail at the butt end of the blade.
    2 3/4” blade. 2” fixed marlin spike.
    Belt loop.
    The iron is stained with age, and, surprisingly has no pitting and remains sharp enough to cut rope.
    Condition is "Used".
